Hey there and happy hump day!
Today, I wanted to give you all a little glimpse into my latest narrated short story and what went in to making it. This one in particular was interesting because of the footage I used. We'll get to that, but first I want to issue a challenge.
My YouTube Channel is currently at 24 subscribers. My goal over the next 30 days is to skyrocket that number to 100! And we can do that together. If you haven't already, please head over to my YouTube channel (either search booksbybond or click the video below) and click subscribe. And don't forget to share the channel as well! With your help, I know I can get the sub count up to 100. At 100 subscribers, I'll do some sort of giveaway!
Alright, on to the behind the scenes info. So, as I'm sure you are all aware, we've all been stuck at home the majority of the time these past few weeks. This has made coming up with footage ideas for my stories a challenge. I've got ideas for stories and imagery that would require public places or travel. With that, I had to get creative.
I was looking through some old photos on my hard drive and found some old video from a trip I took with my buddy Josh. We explored an abandoned neighborhood for his YouTube channel Live it Above 100. I had completely forgot about this footage. I had recorded the drive to the neighborhood and even a few laps around the place itself. It was supposed to be b-roll for his channel but he ended up not needing it. And it sparked the story for The Drive! So, not only was I able to write a story because of this extra footage but I had a ready made visual to pair it to.
You can watch The Drive below. And if you like what you hear, please consider subscribing to the channel. Let's get it to 100 subs! Thank you so much for your support.
